Smart shopping in Helsinki

 Smart shopping in Helsinki

Perhaps you think that I do not get out from abroad - not quite true, but there is something: I prefer to travel far, and often not for long. My last currently European weekend took place in Helsinki and Tallinn, and I am pleased to share with you my shopping pickups.

I say at once: my post does not claim to full and complete objectivity, since Helsinki - a city so rich shopping opportunities for poor young ladies with taste that cover everything impossible.

So, first of all, a mini-trip to Helsinki is best to plan for the season of sales, because prices in the mass-marketnyh stores take the form of a completely ridiculous, given that the range H & M, Mango, Zara there in person it seems to me far more seductive than in our homeland . Well, for example due to a short raid on the above shops my wardrobe enriched peysleyskoy blue shirt for 5 euros, sweaters in cotton with silk for 12 years and funny big cape knitted for the same.

In addition, we should not overlook the local multi-brand stores of clothes, shoes and accessories. For example, in Anttila in sales season you can buy a charming German lingerie set for 13 euros, and Aleksi I rummaged in large baskets with rasprodazhnymi bags, gift cousin chose red leather copy of the type of business for 40 euros. In the youth mass market Seppala (who, incidentally, is also represented in Russia), of course, is to choose mainly clothes for teenagers, but something might like girls and older.

A separate theme - souvenirs and gifts. On the Esplanade, in the heart of shopping in Helsinki, a row of shops stretching famous designer brands household goods, glassware and textiles.

The Aarikka is worth a visit for large colored wooden beads jewelry or home furnishings are the same.

The Iittala - for iconic vases from the legendary designer Alvar Aalto, as well as dishes with fabulous motifs from Taika series or Moomin (by the way, Moomin born in Finland, and souvenirs with the image of a great many here).

The Pentik can buy a small bottle of syrup for a tea or cocktail - or a large wooden chair with striped upholstery, patterned silver candle or a table lamp. The Marimekko go for slicing bright fabrics, curtains and towels, as well as lovely colorful textile bags with taps.

Enjoy your shopping!
