TV shortens life

 TV shortens life  As statistics show, watching television - the most popular way of pastime for many people. But medical researchers believe that this habit can adversely affect health.

Studies prove conclusively - every hour spent in front of a television screen, increases the risk of death from heart attack . And the chances are very high. Those people who are accustomed to watch TV   for four hours every day, the risk increased by 28 percent compared with those who did not watch television.

The study, organized by the British Medical Research Council says that this way of life with a high degree of probability can be the cause of the growth of cardiovascular disease. It is they who are responsible for 193,000 deaths in the UK. The research team studied 13,197 healthy men and women of middle age for a decade. Particular attention was paid to their lifestyle and eating habits watch TV   for several hours a day. During this time, 373 participant of the experiment died of heart disease. According to scientists, 8 percent of the deaths could have been avoided if while watching TV programs has been reduced from four hours to one hour.

One of the study's authors, Dr. Katherine Vidzhndeel warned that our bodies are not designed by nature to sit for long periods. If the work (especially office) to carry out their evenings in front of screen,   risk   death from heart attack increases several times.
