There is a direct link between increased daytime sleepiness and a shortage in the body of vitamin D. This is the conclusion drawn by researchers from the State University of Louisiana in the United States.
Study author Dr. David McCarthy stresses that does not attempt to find the causes of such a link. He wanted to confirm obtained during previous studies evidence that insufficient vitamin D in the body can be a cause or a consequence of excessive daytime sleepiness directly or indirectly by chronic pain.
