It turns out that not all animal fats are harmful to our health. The study showed that we can safely eat cheese, but we should continue to refrain from oil entrainment.
Doctors and nutritionists for decades urged people to eat a diet low in carbohydrates and animal fat. But Danish researchers from the University of Copenhagen found that eating cheese can be not so harmful to health in terms of increased cholesterol As was the custom always considered.
Scientists believe that the cheese must be placed by nutritionists in the same "junk" category as butter. So, people who are within six weeks of daily servings of cheese consumed, there was a significantly lower level of "bad" cholesterol than those who ate a comparable amount of oil. Moreover, proponents of the "diet cheese" had the same cholesterol in the blood, as well as those who eat healthy food.
As the researchers report in an article for the journal American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, in the experiment was attended by 50 people. Each of them adhered to special diets with equal amounts of cheese or butter. Both of these products made from cow's milk, and in the daily human diet provided 13% of daily energy intake from fat. Although the absorption of more animal fat than it would in a normal diet, cheese lovers have not received the shock level of "bad" cholesterol at the end of the experiment, but those who ate the butter, this level increased by 7%.
