The famous Russian poet and prose writer Yevgeny Yevtushenko was urgently hospitalized in a hospital in Rostov-on-Don, where he had made his recital. Doctors say the health of the writer as satisfactory.
The health status of the poet worsened in the morning on December 14th. Yevgeny Yevtushenko I was in the bathroom of his hotel room when he fell ill. He fell and received a head injury. Rostov experts consider it possible to transport a patient to Moscow.
According to some sources, the health of 82-year-old poet had deteriorated because of heart problems (acute heart failure). Currently, his condition stabilized.
Recall that in the past year because of the inflammatory process Yevtushenko had to amputate his right leg. The pain in his leg he appeared in the late 90s because of damage to the ankle joint.
