American experts from the University of Washington conducted a study involving 10 families. It showed that, together with the food people consume chemicals which are used in plastics. And, as it turned out, it is extremely harmful chemicals contained even in the food, which is not in contact with the plastic.
In the experiment, half of the families for five days ate dishes made with fresh ingredients that are delivered to them by the scientists themselves. The other half have to prepare yourself, but before was aware of how to avoid the plastic toxins in the diet - not reheat food in the microwave oven, do not use for food and beverage containers, plastic and so on.
The researchers expected to see a reduction in the consumption of toxins in both groups. However, despite all the precautions in the analyzes of study participants were still found bisphenol A (BPA) and phthalates - the same chemicals that are used in the manufacture of plastics, reported online edition Zdravoe.
Once scientists have tested the products that feed their wards, it was found that a large number of chemicals contained the milk, butter and cream and spices - cinnamon and coriander.
The conclusion that was made by researchers, disappointing. So, even if avoiding foods that are stored or prepared using plastic materials, chemicals can still penetrate into the body.
