We saw the light of the results of the study of American scientists from the University of California (USA) about the impact of sleep apnea (breathing stops during sleep) on the mental abilities of women. As noted above, one of the characteristic signs of sleep apnea is snoring, thus healthy sleep - the best protection of elderly people from the appearance of senile dementia.

Scientific evidence shows that women with age begin to snore no less than men. The cause of snoring can be: obesity, enlarged tonsils, nasal polyps, and even nasal septum deviation.

How to deal with snoring

In addition to conventional medicine, there are many popular ways to get rid of snoring.

Here are three of the most well-known and simple method to get rid of snoring: bedtime drip into each nostril olive oil three times a day for an hour before a meal eat a baked carrots, as well as daily drink distilled water.
