4 cups of coffee will save from diabetes

4 cups of coffee will save from diabetes The use of four cups of coffee a day reduces the risk of developing diabetes. This conclusion was made by German scientists in the course of a large-scale European study.

In total, the study entitled "The European study of the connection Cancer and Nutrition" was attended by 42,659 people, and German researchers followed the participants for their nine years. Experts have found that moderate drinking coffee   (4-5 cups per day) may reduce the risk of Type 2 diabetes   30% compared with people who drank less coffee or do not drink.

Most pleasing is the fact that this effect is achieved both by means of caffeinated coffee and without it. Throughout the European study, the participants were registered 1432 cases Type 2 diabetes , 394 heart attacks, 310 strokes and 1801 cancer cases. Drinking more than four cups of coffee a day (with or without caffeine) was not associated with increased risk of chronic disease.

Previously, scientists had assumed that the risk of diabetes can be reduced by   drinking coffee However, it was unclear whether this would not involve "coffee hit" on the body of other chronic diseases, like heart disease and cancer. Last year, the researchers found that each additional cup of coffee in the daily diet reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes by 7%, and four cups of 25%.

Decaffeinated coffee was found to give the same effect, and because it contains the required amount of antioxidants and magnesium. This means that caffeine itself does not play a significant role in the preventive use of coffee for human health. But it is a powerful stimulant that can get rid of drowsiness. And get involved in coffee in the evening not too wisely.
