 Alzheimer's can overtake any  If you want to avoid dementia, regularly check the vision, visit the dentist and avoid the cold. This curious preventive advice give scientists from Canada.

They argue that the permanent health checks, and the most active lifestyle significantly reduces the risk of developing   Alzheimer   and similar brain diseases. In order to make this conclusion, scientists have identified a whole range of diseases, due to which increases the risk of dementia. These include arthritis, poor eyesight, broken bones and even poorly matched tooth crowns.

These Canadian experts published in the journal Neurology. And if individually increases the risk of illness Alzheimer   in adulthood only slightly, their bouquet in one particular person increases the risk by half.

In general, practically healthy, normal person's risk of Alzheimer's disease at some stage of life is 18% (the same risk of developing lung cancer in smokers). But in the case of each of the above ailments risk of dementia increases sequentially by 3, 2%. You may recall that previous studies have shown the connection with the development of Alzheimer   high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease, obesity and smoking.

Scientists believe that dementia can be caused by poor blood circulation in the brain, which causes over time, damage to blood vessels and cells. Of course, many of them have arthritis, loss of vision and hearing - unavoidable ills. But researchers believe that regular visits to the doctor and dentist can help reduce the risk of dementia.
