Scientists have learned how to extract drinking water from the pot

Scientists from the children's charity UNICEF came up with the machine, which recycles clothing accumulated in human sweat, turning it into clean drinking water. This device is useful in areas of the world where there is a lack of life-giving water.

Science has learned to turn the salty sea water into fresh water, and that has helped millions of people in Africa who lack drinking water . But if coastal African states can exist due to the ocean, then what about those who are in the center of the continent? Experts from UNICEF proposed a very unusual way - processing apparatus sweat contained in the clothes in the water.

This "sweaty machine" was presented at the opening ceremony of the world's largest football tournament among boys Gothia Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden. Players of different teams and just curiosity could ensure the effectiveness of the machine on their own experience - they shot got wet with sweat clothes and gave it to "recycle", or simply drinking has thus obtained water from a cup.

On average, a sweaty T-shirt produced 10 ml drinking water . And although many people probably curled his lip of this method thirst quencher, the car proved to be extremely popular among both ordinary visitors and among the stars. Swedish players Mohammad Ali Khan and Tobias Hayes who first tasted the water from the pot.

The unit was created in the framework of a worldwide campaign to draw attention to the needs of millions of people without access to the most needed for each person - clean drinking water. (READ MORE)
