British scientists conducted the study, which was attended by 469 smokers. All of them were trying to stop smoking   after they had problems with the heart. The researchers analyzed the health and mental well-being of the subjects, who managed   stop smoking   and those who continued to smoke. It turned out that the first condition of the nervous system was much better, stress levels declined.

These studies have confirmed the theory that some people nicotine causes stress. It is believed that a cigarette helps to calm the nerves and to cope with problems. Because of this, smokers often fail in the fight against tobacco. But research shows a very different result: non-smokers experience less stress than smokers. Scientists have suggested that smoking itself can cause long-term stress. Awareness of nicotine addiction is also a stress factor.

The research team believes that the smoking cessation   It could benefit not only physical health but also mental well-being of smokers.
