He died a famous dancer of the Bolshoi Theatre

Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation Leonid Bolotin, who spoke on the Bolshoi Theater from 1956 to 1978, died on December 3. He was 75 years old.

Leonid Bolotin Born in Gorky in 1938. Vocational education he received in the Moscow Choreography School on course Nikolai Tarasov.

While studying in the graduating class, he first sang the title role in "Nutcracker" ballet, staged by Vasily Vaynonenom MOSS on the scene, and immediately after graduation in 1956, the dancer was accepted into the troupe Bolshoi Theatre . The press service of the Bolshoi note that Bolotin has been involved in almost all productions.

As a dancer, he worked in the main Soviet theater of opera and ballet 22 years old, but even completing his professional career, the artist was at the Bolshoi Theatre.

He created a small studio, and having mastered the profession of operator, chronicled the Bolshoi Theater until 1997. After four years Bolotin took part in the creation of a similar audio archives. Collecting records opera productions he worked until his death. (READ MORE)
