The rate of aging affects character

 The rate of aging affects character  Psychologists at Washington University in St. Louis have found evidence that personality and brain aging may be linked.

The research team conducted a series of experiments involving 79 volunteers aged 44 to 88 years.

Scientists have discovered an interesting pattern. The volunteers with a high degree nevrotizma volume of gray matter in the anterior and medial temporal regions of the brain   decreased. Those who are characterized as conscientious and honest man, the volume of gray matter was much higher.

According to Dr. Denise, the head of research, associate professor of psychology at the University of Washington, is the first step in studying the effect of personality   on brain in old age. These exercises demonstrate the link between personality and brain volume, particularly in the areas of of the brain Associated with emotional and social sphere. It can be argued that the personality influences the rate aging   brain.

But Dr. Denise also notes that perhaps the opposite interpretation. That is, changes in brain m Ozga   during aging   influence personality . Now, scientists have not yet found the answer to this question. The research team plans further experiments with volunteers.

The value of such studies is very high. These data can serve as a clue to many age-related diseases such as Alzheimer's disease. Consequently, they will be able to help in rehabilitation.
