I'm not a vampire, I'm sick!

I'm not a vampire, I'm sick! This totally ridiculous hat boy every day pulls the head not because that is a fan of space invaders or firefighters. David was given expensive for what to burn it to become the hated suit. But there is no escape - the boy suffers from extremely rare allergy to the sun. Therefore, during the day, he must constantly defend face helmet and special gloves hands.

Doctors believe that in the case of 10-year-old David, they are faced with the world's first development of a new version Kaposi's disease   - A rare genetic disease in which skin is exposed to direct sunlight breaks. Like a vampire from a Hollywood horror movie, David is enough to stay only a few minutes of unprotected sun exposure, the skin will begin his terrible burns covered. Boy comes every two hours to rub into the skin of the sun cream (even indoors). And do it before the end of life should be, unless of course the doctors of the future does not come up with how to treat the disease.

The window of his room in the house is always closed by a special screen that protects against the penetration of ultraviolet sunlight. David lives with his 31-year-old mother, Kate, 50-year-old stepfather, John and 13-year-old sister Charlotte in Vorchestshire. John Middleton says that his adopted son never let the disease somehow change his life. He tries to live as do all his peers.

"At school, many take with David example - says John. - It's the only student who every day have the right to be an astronaut. We have every day to check the level of sunlight, opt for walks cloudy weather and at night. But otherwise we are trying to do so that David did not feel any inferiority. In the future he wants to become a paramedic as well as I do. "
