A new cure for paralysis

In America, after successful clinical studies took a new drug designed specifically to help paralyzed people. The authors say the drug that results after its application was unprecedented, and it inspires hope.

A new drug called intracellular sigma-peptide (ISP) developed by American scientists from Ohio University. This drug helps a damaged nerve cells to regenerate, allowing them once again to transmit messages from the brain to the the muscles that should restore mobility and become the new method treatment of paralysis .

When paralysis when these Message from the brain moves toward the extremities through the damaged spine, they blocked the path of special chemicals similar glue. With daily injections of the drug to these chemicals glued ISP, allowing the nerves to continue to grow.
