Caffeine affects the fetal growth

Caffeine affects the fetal growth The more caffeine pregnant women lean on, the less weight they have children later born. This is the conclusion, researchers from the Netherlands, studied the diets of pregnant women 7300 counterparts.

The researchers found that those women who early pregnancy   drank six cups of coffee a day, usually born smaller in weight and increase in children than in those who are not keen on coffee. The number of women among the 7300 participants of the study amounted to as much as 3%. The average height and weight of children born to them was somewhat less.

In addition, the hottest groupies caffeine grew the risk of a child who was a size too small for her prenatal age, which is less than it should be at this stage of pregnancy. However, this study is based on a small number of children, and its accuracy is not fully installed. So among the 104 children born to those who like coffee, only seven did not meet the parameters of babies in utero age.

However, the study, published in the journal American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, was another argument in favor of the opinion of scientists about the possible danger   high doses of caffeine , him   harmfulness for pregnant women early pregnancy   and its effect on fetal growth. Some studies have observed the connection between even small doses of caffeine and the subsequent birth of children with low birth weight. In other studies, this connection could not be traced. In addition, scientists have not reached a consensus about whether caffeine increases the risk of miscarriage or not.
