Regular exercise increases the chances of men on paternity, as scientists have found out Harvard University. And the less the stronger sex is sitting in front of TV, the better its ability to engage in the offspring.
Harvard scientists have noticed that men who spend watching television three hours a day and more, almost half thereby reducing their chances of paternity . But regular exercise in this matter are very useful. What is surprising, because earlier researchers found poor sperm quality among professional cyclists, runners and participants in the triathlon.
It has even been suggested that the decline sperm count and the fall of the speed of their movement due to the fact that these athletes spend many hours on the narrow bicycle saddles and move in tight lycra suits that have a compressive force in the genital area. But Harvard scientists believe that male fertility grueling hours of physical activity are harmful in themselves, regardless of their species.
Researchers have shown that moderate load, on the contrary, lead to the highest sperm count . This is most clearly when compared sperm physically active men with those of their peers, who prefer to spend their free time on the couch. So, exercise for a total of 15 hours per week (exercises from moderate to severe in intensity) lead to the fact that adhering to this rhythm male sperm count is 73% higher than those who engaged in less than five hours per week. Weak load does not have any effect at all.
But watching television 20 or more hours per week reduces the sperm count by 44% compared to those men who barely pay attention to the TV. These studies are published in the journal British Journal of Sports Medicine. Moreover, scientists thought the sperm are not middle-aged men, and students from 18 to 22 years, that is, by definition, the most fertile of the stronger sex. (READ MORE)
