Specialists from the University Hospital in South Korea scored 2782 adults and carefully studied their habits relating to sleep. Moreover, all the volunteers were taking the readings of blood pressure.

Observations have shown that people who sleep longer on weekends to compensate for the short sleep on weekdays, the probability of hypertension is lower by nearly 40% compared with those who did not compensate for the loss of sleep over the weekend.
