Live from the track - to premature birth

Live from the track - to premature birth Living in close proximity to a busy road increases the risk of premature birth. That is the conclusion reached by researchers from Japan.

Pregnant women Who live less than 200 meters from the main road, 50% more at risk to have a child ahead of time, ie before 37 weeks. These data were obtained by Japanese researchers on the basis of observations of more than 14 thousand births.

The risk to have a baby even before the 32 th week of pregnancy in these women increases by 60%, but the biggest danger for them - birth before 28 weeks. Unless pregnant women   live near a busy road, this risk increases by as much as 80%. Japanese researchers believe that the cause is not in a constant road noise outside the window, and in a strong air pollution.

According to the WHO classification, premature   called   childbirth   before the 37th week of pregnancy, while the norm is 40 th week. However, there are concepts of early and premature birth . So the daughter of British Prime Minister Flora was born three weeks early, which is considered early births. But if it was born before the 37th week, it would be considered premature birth .

Born premature babies significantly more at risk of severe and prolonged illnesses, such as cerebral palsy, blindness and deafness. On average, about one fixed Russian miscarriage 10-15 normal. However, among women living near a busy road, the number of premature birth   significantly higher as scientists have found Japan.
