There are situations where you need to be slimmer in just a few days. 3-day diet allows you to find "lost" waist just before the upcoming event: it can help you lose weight in three days up to 6 kg.

3-day diet includes a lot of grapefruit, vegetables and protein. Eating carbohydrates and fats to a diet that is reduced to a minimum - a daily diet "weighs" about 1,200 calories. Every day you should drink about 1, 5 liters of water.

The main principle of the 3-day diet - eat at one time very small amount of food. At the same time during each meal should eat half a grapefruit. Here is a sample menu of this diet:

- Breakfast (carbs + protein): a toast and a slice of cheese or egg.

- Lunch (carbohydrate + protein), for example, bread with tuna or cottage cheese.

- Dinner (carbs + protein + vegetables + small amount of fat), for example, a little bit of chicken without the skin, one cup of broccoli, one cup of asparagus, one fruit.

Despite the fact that the 3-day diet involves eating healthy foods and allows you to immediately lose quite a sizeable number of extra kilos, it can hardly be considered the best way to lose weight. Under the influence of the diet in the body can occur ketosis - a condition in which the body breaks down fats to form ketones. Getting rid of these "waste products", the body releases a lot of water, so the weight that is lost, leaving mainly due to the fluid.
