Many of our compatriots have the opportunity to receive certain medications at a discount, prefer to buy their counterparts at full price, because they believe that cheap drugs can not be of good quality. This was stated by researchers from the Russian Public Opinion Research Center, analyzed the situation in the domestic pharmaceutical market.
In the experts' questions answered 1600 130 settlements of Russia. They told how often buy drugs and whether they are satisfied with the price, availability and quality of medicines.
The majority of respondents were satisfied with the range of pharmacy. For 4 years the number of Russians who prefer to be treated by modern medicines, virtually unchanged (84% in 2009 and 81% in 2013).
Continuing to "sit on the pill," we forced 38% of our countrymen, and only 14% of them have drug benefits . However, about half of beneficiaries (6%) prefer to buy medications at full price. The most popular reason for not discount was confident that cheaper drugs is worse than expensive. Views were also expressed that the process of acquiring the drug benefit is too complicated (27%) and the right medicines quickly find not (26%).
At the same time, the overwhelming majority of respondents are dissatisfied with the high cost of treatment. According to VTsIOM, 19% of patients at least once refused by the purchase of medicines, since they were they could not afford. (READ MORE)
