Less than all of Europe live Scots

The famous Scotsman Sean Connery, eight years ago, a retired, not for nothing that lives in the Bahamas. As it became known, in most of Scotland recorded the lowest life expectancy in Western Europe.

Artist as James Bond, the legendary Sir Sean Connery   once said that he would return to Scotland after it proclaimed independence. As hopes for it is negligible, there is no doubt that the rest of his days will Connery in his luxury property in the Bahamas. But this actor is unlikely to have survived his 80 when he lived at home.

Head of Medical Department of the Scottish Dr. Harry Burns said that in this part of the UK has the lowest lifespan throughout Western Europe. However, the Scots East is overtaken, and live longer than in Poland or Russia. But Burns is confident that democratic development in the former Soviet bloc will soon lead to the fact that the Bulgarians, Czechs and Balts overtake Scotland.

The Russians also watch lifespan   Scots and does hurt. If in our country men live an average of 58 years, 75 in Scotland - and it is still considered a low rate! And the average life expectancy of Scottish women is 80 years. Dr. Burns says that the poorest strata of the Scots suffered the most. And if the situation is not corrected, then this part of the UK will continue to keep on life span from its nearest neighbors.

Burns believes that the situation can change, if to do everything in order to get people to undergo regular prevention and treatment of heart disease.
