In Ukraine, falling drug prices

Lower prices for medicines made to the mandatory range of domestic social drugs is attributable to the memorandum signed between the government and manufacturers of medicines. According to the chairman of the State Service of Ukraine on drugs Alexei Solovyov, the downward trend in drug prices will last at least until the end of the year.

In addition, national manufacturers and distributors 15% reduced prices for medicines that are included in the national list. For medical institutions and health care institutions, which are financed from the budget, drug prices decreased by 8%.

"I believe that for our patient's budget saved considerable funds. I hope that this trend will continue at least until the end of the year, and we will come to the clear relationship with the pharmaceutical companies, "- commented on the lower drug prices   Alexey Soloviev.

In turn, the Ukrainian government has pledged to make his pitch to producers to meet - to ban the importation of drugs into the country, are not proven more effective in comparison with the domestic. This law will come into effect January 1, 2013.
