The study, in which seafood emerged as a serious defense against the development of colon cancer, was organized by members of the US National Institute for the Study of Environmental Health. Participation in it took more than a thousand volunteers: 716 people have been diagnosed with cancer and 787 participants in the experiment were under medical supervision due to an increased risk of cancer.
The subjects went through testing, which should reveal the specifics of their power over the last 12 months. The results showed that the volunteers whose diet was full of seafood and fish, rich in omega-3 fatty acids, indicators of health in relation to the likelihood of cancer were far spanning more optimistic.
