Scientists from the US have found that the process of aging in the human body starts much earlier than previously thought. Experts came to the conclusion that we are starting to get old before the external manifestation of age-related features in its appearance.

This process is due to changes in metabolism and the body's ability to expend energy, experts explain, highlighting the fact that the body is "programmed" aging, and to stop it, in principle, impossible.

As part of his study, doctors examined the state of the muscle mass in rhesus monkeys of different ages. When the experts compared the samples of muscle macaques young and middle-aged, they were very surprised at how significant was the change in muscle metabolism. According to lead study author Rosalyn Anderson, completely changed the way the muscles with age began to produce and use energy. "The muscles of these animals were still in great shape and shows no signs of aging. But the middle-aged monkeys cells were exposed to danger, albeit in a less explicit form, "- said Anderson.

The experts concluded that aging muscle begins to occur much earlier than was thought and that his trial starts before the manifestation of outward signs, I notice a man. In the age after 30 years there is a decrease in muscle mass, and in each subsequent 10 years, this process becomes more intense. After 60 years there is a new breakthrough, aggravating the loss of muscle mass and strength of skeletal muscle.
