 Only brown rice struggling with diabetes  Interesting properties of various kinds of rice discovered by American scientists. They conducted a study which revealed the pros and cons of varieties of white and brown rice.

As stated by scientists from the Harvard School of Public Health, eating five or more servings white rice   during the week is directly related to increased risk of diabetes type 2 . On the other hand, if there are two or more servings brown rice   a week, the risk decreases. Researchers estimate that replacing 50 grams of white rice with the same amount brown rice   will reduce the risk of developing diabetes type 2   16%. If you replace white rice, whole wheat or barley, the risk is reduced by 36 percent.

The use of rice in food in the United States has increased dramatically in recent decades. So much so that scientists are seriously concerned about the health of Americans. The findings of the study showed that grade brown rice   White exceed the content of fiber, minerals, vitamins. Scientists recommend to remove or reduce the proportion of white rice in the diet. Whole-grain foods as a source of carbohydrates, much more useful.
