Approved new rules for the treatment of foreigners in Russia

The new rules provide both paid and free medical care aliens - depending on the situation. If a guest from abroad needs emergency medical care (in acute diseases, exacerbation of severe chronic diseases, injuries, poisoning, etc.), it will be treated at public expense.
Another thing, if a foreigner is necessary to carry out the planned examination or emergency procedures (if required conditions are not life-threatening). And if the patient is not a contract of voluntary health insurance, access to a doctor he will have to pay out of their own pockets. At the same time the treatment itself will begin only when the patient will make an advance payment or give written assurances to employees of medical institution that will repay the debt.

• According to Russian law, foreigners have the right to treat medical and other organizations irrespective of their organizational and legal forms, as well as individual entrepreneurs.
• Rules of care   citizens of other countries brought into line with the federal law "On the basis of health ...".
• Only from the Moscow budget for the treatment of visitors from neighboring countries annually spent about 5 billion rubles.
