 Smoking threatens ectopic pregnancy  Scientists have identified one extremely negative effects of smoking. Effects of nicotine can lead to ectopic pregnancy.

The blame for this chemical   cotinine,   contained in cigarette smoke. Cotinine   - A byproduct of the assimilation of nicotine, which stays in the blood up to two days. It stimulates the female body in a chain reaction, leading eventually to the ectopic pregnancy.

Experts from the University of Edinburgh (UK) conducted a large-scale study of the impact   cotinine   on the woman's body. They found that the cotinine significantly increases the protein content PROKR1 in the fallopian tubes. The protein operates as follows: it prevents the muscles shrink tubing. This increases the risk of attachment of a fertilized egg outside the uterus. In this situation, the embryo can not develop, chorionic villi embedded in body tissue and cause severe bleeding in the abdominal cavity.

Ectopic pregnancy   Western countries are diagnosed in one out of fifty. In most cases, such a pregnancy is not viable. Very often the situation with ectopic pregnancy   could threaten the health of the mother. If you do not take timely measures can even be fatal.
